Not The Girl Next Door- Our take on the good ol’ days of American country music…think Jerry Reed, Johnny Cash etc. As can sometimes occur with song-writing, this was one of those tunes that just simply presented itself and was quickly documented on paper. Chords, melody and lyrics. Bang…all there. This one provides another flavour at a live gig and gets the heads bobbing. PW likes to call it “genre specific”. Cowboy boots are mandatory here….this is never a problem for MO. Be sure to listen carefully for the cheeky back up vocal delivered by MGT (somewhere ‘round the middle).
